Sensi and Awair users can receive alerts when their air quality becomes unhealthy and trigger Sensi's circulating fan to help tackle indoor pollution.

The air inside your home can be up to five times more polluted than the outdoor air of busy cities. That’s because many common building materials, household products, and indoor activities generate pollution which can build up inside your home. Although this pollution is invisible, it can impact your health, sleep quality, and productivity, and can worsen existing conditions such as asthma and eczema.

See the invisible.

Awair is a leader in the indoor air quality monitoring space. They offer a range of smart air quality monitors for residential and commercial spaces, with the mission of empowering users to take control of the air they breathe.

Awair 2nd Edition monitors temperature, humidity, chemicals (VOCs), particulate matter (PM2.5), and carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in your space and alerts you the moment your air quality becomes unhealthy. Using the free Awair app, you can track changes in your home’s air quality and receive actionable feedback to help you create a healthier environment.

Increasing your air circulation can be a highly effective method of improving the air quality in your home. With Sensi’s Awair integration, you will receive an alert on your Awair mobile app when your air quality is low, prompting Sensi to activate its circulating fan feature automatically.

The addition of Awair’s indoor air quality monitoring platform is further proof of our commitment to deliver a wide range of smart home integration options to our customers. In addition to Awair, our growing list of technology partners includes Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit™.

Let’s get started.

To begin integrating the Awair monitoring service—along with other smart home platforms—with your Sensi thermostat, open the smart home integrations feature in the Sensi app. If you are a current Awair customer, you can also begin the integration process by tapping the Awair+ tab in your Awair app*.

Monitoring the air quality inside your home—and taking the steps to improve it—through Sensi and Awair will have you breathing a little easier.

*If you have 1st edition Awair, please make sure to update the latest version of the Awair app.
