What is the difference between a Sensi password and a HomeKit code?

When connecting your Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat to your home’s Wi-Fi network, you will be asked to enter a Sensi password or a HomeKit code.

Android users will use the Sensi password found on the back of the Welcome Guide that came with the thermostat.

Apple (iOS) users will use a HomeKit code. This code will dynamically appear on the thermostat screen. Please note this dynamic code could take up to 1 minute to appear.
