Can a Sensi Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat be upgraded for Apple HomeKit compatibility?
No. To be certified for Apple HomeKit compatibility, we were required to use specific hardware that supports Apple’s HomeKit platform. Previous versions of Sensi thermostats cannot be upgraded through software or firmware.
No matter what Sensi thermostat you have, you can be assured updates to our mobile app and use of other third-party smart home platforms such as Amazon Alexa and Wink will be supported equally.
