Sensi Multiple Thermostat Manager works with all Sensi thermostat models. Sensi thermostats work in many building/facility settings and are compatible with most 24VAC conventional heating and cooling, heat-only, cool-only, and heat pump/geothermal systems.
Whether your building's HVAC units are big or small, on the roof or on the ground, the quickest way to confirm if Sensi thermostats will work for your system is to use our wire picker tool. Locate the thermostat(s) that control your building’s heating and cooling. Remove the thermostat cover from the baseplate. Use the Sensi wire picker tool to enter the terminals that have wires attached to them. You will quickly find out if your system is compatible.
Sensi thermostats are NOT compatible with the following types of building/facility systems:
- Line voltage (high voltage)
- Millivolt systems (very low voltage)
- Communicating systems (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks)
- VAV systems
- Evaporative coolers
- Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV)
- Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV)
- Economizer
- Dry Contacts
- Remote Sensors*
- PTAC**
*All Sensi models are not compatible with wired or alternate sensors. You may tape off the sensor wires and still use Sensi, but you may lose certain functionality that existed with the original thermostat.
Only Sensi Touch 2 is compatible with Sensi Room Sensors at this time, and you cannot control the sensors from Multiple Thermostat Manager.
